Dylan Edwards, Colorado's Leading Rusher, Enters Transfer Portal

Buffs Lose Another Top Running Back

Edwards' Departure Leaves Big Hole in Colorado's Offense

Dylan Edwards, the Colorado Buffaloes' leading rusher in 2023, has entered the transfer portal, becoming the latest in a string of departures from the program. Edwards, a freshman running back, had 76 carries for 321 yards and one touchdown this season. His departure leaves a big hole in Colorado's offense, which has struggled to score points this season.

Edwards is the third running back to leave Colorado this season, following the departures of Jarek Broussard and Ashaad Clayton. The Buffs are now left with just two scholarship running backs on their roster.

Edwards' departure is a major blow to a Colorado team that is already struggling. The Buffs are 1-7 this season and have lost their last five games. They are currently last in the Pac-12 South and have little chance of reaching a bowl game.

Edwards' decision to enter the transfer portal is a sign that he is looking for a better opportunity. The Buffs are in a rebuilding mode and it is clear that Edwards does not believe that he will be able to reach his full potential in Boulder.

Edwards is a talented running back with a bright future. He is likely to receive a lot of interest from other schools and should find a new home soon.
